DH-81A Sampling Kit

The US DH-81 handheld suspended sediment sampler developed by the Federal Interagency Sedimentation Project (FISP) is specifically designed to collect flow-weighted, depth-integrated water - sediments samples in wadeable streams and rivers. The systems central component is the US DH-81A Adapter, which attaches to a wading rod and supports a variety of caps, nozzles, and sample containers. The modularity allows for a flexible, configurable system that can be tailored to specific sampling environments.

US D-95

D-95 Sampler

The US D-95 is a depth-integrating sampler specifically engineered for collecting water-quality and suspended-sediment data in stream depths up to 15 feet. Designed for hand-line deployment, operated via a suspension system, such as a bridge board, crane, or reel. It’s built to meet the standards of the USGS National Field Manual, the US D-95 ensures scientific integrity and inflow efficiency across stream velocities ranging from 1.5 to 7.5 ft/sec.
